TN Budget 2019: Cyclone Gaja relief placed at Rs 2,361 crore

Tamil Nadu Finance Minister O Panneerselvam on Friday, while presenting the state budget announced that Rs 2,361 crore will be allocated for Gaja Cyclone relief works.

Tamil Nadu's budget is being presented on Friday by Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, who holds the Finance portfolio. The budget for 2019-20 was started in the House at 10:00 am.

The state Finance Minister started the session with Thirukural and praised the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa for her policy based decisions. He highlighted the achievements and milestones happened in Tamil Nadu during the AIADMK governance.
