Attempt to burgle Manachanallur woman MLA’s house, one arrested

According to police, Mannachanallur MLA Parameshwari Murugan has ancestral house at South Thathamangalam in the Ethumalai road and another house at Manachanallura. She used to visit her ancestral house on alternate days. On Wednesday, at 11.30 pm, a gang of four entered through the back door and broke open the lock of the Thathamangalam house. As the robbers entered the house, the neighbours who heard the noise, rushed to the spot. However, on seeing the people, the gang attempted to flee but the people could secure one of them. Based on information Siruganur police registered a case and further investigations are on.
