Stalin acting like a dictator, says Thambidurai
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has termed the budget as just a trailer, but trailers are usually good, but one must wait for the final movie to be released to ascertain its worth, Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai told reporters on Monday.

“The BJP which has presented ‘six budgets’ till now should have rolled out more such trailers,” he said. Taking a jibe at the BJP and its interim budget, the AIADMK leader reiterated that there were no benefits for the state from the BJP regime over the past five years. This is a vote on account and not a full-fledged budget. Though there are announcements in the budget, TN has got nothing.
TN’s rights have been curtailed in Cauvery, NEET and GST, Thambidurai recalled. “BJP leader and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman insulted our party convenor O Panneerselvam in Delhi by not giving an audience. BJP has never been a friendly party with the AIADMK,” Thambidurai said noting that the BJP leaders had earlier criticised the AIADMK government as corrupt and non-performing. Reacting to the recent remarks by the DMK leader MK Stalin on the AIADMK and the BJP, Thambidurai said Stalin should give suggestions to other parties. “Democracy in DMK is a question mark. Off late DMK functionaries do not comment or express their views as Stalin behaves like a dictator,” Thambidurai said.
