Six students insult teacher, suspended

In the video, the students were seen preventing the teacher, Vadamalai (45), to sit on the chair, besides making fun of him. After seeing the clip, a few residents lodged a complaint with the education officials and the Director of School Education (DSE) in Chennai. Based on the DSE’s orders, Tirupattur DEO S Siva, who conducted an inquiry and talked to the parents, ordered the suspension of the six students involved in the incident. 

However, the students would be allowed to write the examinations, said sources. Babu, headmaster of the school, was stabbed by Class 12 students when he pulled them up for poor academic performance nearly a year ago. After the same students allowed into the school, the discipline was affected, sources revealed.
