Kanimozhi welcomes Ajith's stand

Rajya Sabha MP and prominent DMK leader Kanimozhi, welcomed actor Ajith Kumar's stand on politics. Few fans of actor Ajith were joined BJP during an event at Triuppur two days back.
Ajith, on Monday issued a statement in which he expressed his disinterest in entering politics and never insisted his fans to support any political party. When reporters questioned Kanimozhi about the actor’s stand on politics she said she welcomed his statement.
Actor Ajith's statement came after few of his fans joined BJP at Tiruppur two days back. The actor in his earlier statement mentioned his job was to act and he was 'clear' about the same, the 'Viswasam' star also asked his fans to put an end to 'reports' in this connection.
"I have at no point of time compelled my fans to cast their vote for any particular political party nor will I compel them to do so in the times to come", he said.

Ajith has a good fan following and his Pongal release 'Viswasam' is said to be giving a tough run to superstar Rajinikanth's action flick 'Petta', also released during the festive season, in box office collections in the domestic market.
