10 injured as car rams into share auto
As many as 10 persons were injured on Tuesday night after their share auto was hit by a car from behind, said police. At least two of the victims have sustained serious injuries.

The share autorickshaw from Pullarampakkam was carrying six passengers and was being driven by one Viji. The rickshaw had halted to drop a passenger at Seruvannur when the accident occurred.
“The car was driven by one Sivasankar, who was returning from a private hospital in Tiruvallur along with his father, wife and daughter. He lost control and hit the auto-rickshaw,” police said.
The injured auto passengers were identified as Rajkumar (40), Abinesh (23), Sekar (20) and Vijaya (53) from Siruvanur village and, Preeti (12), a school student.
On information, Pullarapakkam police rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to the government hospital in Tiruvallur. Abinesh and Sekar were later shifted to the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for further treatment.
