Body of college student washes up on The Marina
Three college students who visited The Marina on Sunday were feared drowned in the sea, the police said. Body of one of the three engineering students washed ashore on Sunday evening.

The trio was part of a group of eight from a college in Sriperumbudur who visited the beach. They were staying in a hostel.
According to the police, Dinesh (18) of Tirumullaivoyal, Bharadwaj (18) of Tindivanam and Jayakeerthi Varma of Dharmapuri were reported missing earlier in the day.
They were playing in the sea near Kannagi Statue when a giant wave pulled them away. Other students alerted the police immediately. The police with the help of fishermen searched for the missing students but in vain. Later, the body of Dinesh washed ashore while the two others are still missing, the police said.
