Wet spell in TN for next three days
After a brief lull, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry will be receiving rainfall following a trough of low over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining Andaman sea for the next 24 hours. The city for the next two days will have a cloudy sky with occasional light to moderate rain in some areas.

“This system will bring light to moderate rainfall, with few heavy spells expected over coastal regions of Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, interior parts of Tamil Nadu will receive light rain. Also, heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry,” said N Puviarasan, Scientist D, Director of Agromet Advisory Service Unit at the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC).
Further, the State will continue to receive light to moderate rainfall or thundershower at many places for the next three days.
The RMC has predicted that heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over south coastal Tamil Nadu on December 6.
Squally winds gusting with speed up to 55 Km/hr is likely to blow over southwest Bay of Tamil Naduand Puducherry coast. A special advisory has been issued to fishermen warning not to venture into sea on December 4.
The city will record a maximum temperature of around 30 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius.
