Tearing off AIADMK banners: Police cracks down on AMMK, including TTV

Police has registered a case against Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam chief TTV Dhinakaran and hundred others of the party as the cadres tore off the banners installed by AIADMK during the Thevar jayanthi celebration at Pasumpon in Ramanathapuram.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Paneerselvam participated in Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar jayanthi celebration on October 31. In order to welcome them, banners were displayed in large numbers at the site of the venue.

Shortly after the visit of CM and deputy CM, the AMMK leader visited the venue to pay his homage, when his supporters tore off all the banners of AIADMK in a fit of rage.
