Centre allots adequate funds for projects in TN: Nirmala Sitharaman
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said that the Centre has been sanctioning adequate funds to Tamil Nadu to implement all the schemes rolled out. Her response came after Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker M Thambidurai charged that the Centre is announcing new schemes but doesn’t fund for implementing them.

The minister was present for the launch of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Support and Outreach programme in Coimbatore by Prime Minister through video conference.
While asked about the Rafale deal, Nirmala Sitharaman refused to talk and accept questions on the same.
The Minister also said that the government was taking all steps to boost the MSME sector in the country. She also promised to take up the issue of reducing 18 per cent GST on job working units for small scale industries.
