Wife kills hubby for not taking medicines regularly, arrested

Senthil Kumar (30), a daily wage labourer residing at MV Kuppam, was undergoing treatmentfor a psychiatric ailment, said police. However, he has been in the habit of refusing to take medicine and this resulted in quarrels with his wife Revathi (25). 

The couple were marriedfor five years and had twodaughters. On Sunday, while thecouple was returning home fromRevathi’s house on a two-wheeler,they had a quarrel again.

Thereafter, an annoyed Revathi stabbed Senthil Kumar. Neighbours,who initially thought it to be routine dispute betweenthe couple, were alerted by thevictim’s screams. 

They rushed Senthil Kumar to Gudiyattam government hospital, where he was declared ‘brought dead.’ Melpatti police have registered a case. Revathi has been arrested and further investigation is on.
