Flying debris from AI flight injures woman

A woman reportedly suffered injuries as debris landed on her car after the Air India Express flight hit the compound wall at the Tiruchy airport on Friday. R Manimala (40) of Tiruvarur had come in a car to receive her husband Raja Selvaraj, who came from Dubai by the AI Express flight. After receiving him, she was returning to Tiruvarur and when they were travelling on the Pudukkottai-Tiruchy road, the plane hit the compound wall and some bricks landed on their car in which its windshield was damaged and Manimala was injured in her head.
