Dr Sivanthi Aditanar Memorial Foundation stone to be laid on October 26
The foundation stone will be laid by Chief Minister Edapaddi K Palaniswami via video conferencing.

Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami in 2017, while participating in the MGR centenary celebration in Thoothukudi, had announced that the government would construct a memorial for Padmashri Dr Sivanthi Aditanar in order to honour him.
Following the announcement, the place adjacent to Aditanar college in Tiruchendur was chosen for the memorial and an estimate of Rs 1 crore was allocated for the construction.
It is announced that the official ceremony for laying the foundation stone is scheduled on 26 October.
While addressing reporters in Tiruchendur yesterday, Minister Sellur K Raju said, "Like his father Si.Pa Aditanar who helped in the education of underprivileged section of the society, Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar selflessly served the people."
He further added that the foundation stone will be laid by Chief Minister Edapaddi K Palaniswami via video conferencing. He will also participate in the programme in person along with the district collector Sandeep Nanduri, district officials, and the public.
