One killed as bike hits tree near Ponneri

According to police, the deceased was identified as Praveen (21), a private company employee and a resident of Pudu Nagar in Sholavaram. 

Praveen, who was riding with his two friends, Praveen Kumar and Dinesh Kumar, crashed into a tree on Orakadu Road near Maanthopu and all the three sustained serious injuries. 

Though they were rushed to the Padiyanallur Government Hospital, Praveen died on the way. 

The other two, who were critical, were later shifted to Stanley Government Hospital, police added.  Sholavaram police have registered a case and are investigating.
