Remove fence on path to burial ground: Public
Residents of Rajapalayam under Madanur panchayat union near Ambur staged a road blockade on Monday demanding to remove the fence put up across the path leading to the burial ground.

Saroja (30), wife of Munusamy from Arunthathiyar Colony at Rajapalayam died on Monday.Â
As a fence was the path leading to the burial ground was blocked due to fence erected by some persons, they were not able to carry the body further.
Irked by this, mourners, including relatives and friends, staged a stir near the house of the deceased - Saroja.
When their agitation failed to draw the attention of officials, they moved to the Madanur-Odugathur Road and blocked vehicles. As a result, traffic on the stretch was affected.
On information, the Ambur taluk police, tahsildar and other officials rushed to the spot and held talks with the agitators. Following which, the group dispersed.
