Mandram to monitor its WhatsApp groups

After Rajinikanth announced his entry into politics, he established Rajini Makkal Mandram, a nodal body for fan clubs across the world. Through the appointment of office bearers at various levels, an internal structure of the organisation was established in the months that followed. With an active disciplinary action committee, a five-step process for the dismissal of members who breach the code of conduct was also issued. This has seen a several members at various levels come under sanctions for transgressions over the last few months. 

Now, the Rajini Makkal Mandram has also taken measures to clarify that all such disciplinary actions are approved by the actor-turned-politician.

The Mandram also issued directives to district-level coordinators to monitor communication on official WhatsApp channels as it has been brought to its notice that some of the members against whom action was taken have been spreading falsehoods about the organisation and the high command. 

Apparently, Rajinikanth wants to curb such rumours before the launch of his party and only propagate information that he officially reveals during press conferences.
