Armed Reserve cop misbehaves with woman, held
The SP of Ariyalur on Tuesday suspended a cop attached to the Armed Reserved wing on charges of teasing a woman in the bus under the influence of alcohol.

He reportedly attacked the bus conductor, who intervened. The accused, Manikandan (45) of Kandamangalam village works as a constable in Ariyalur district Armed Reserved wing and was travelling to Jayankondam from Meensuruti in a TNSTC bus.Â
On Monday, Manikandan, who was under the influence of alcohol teased woman. Following this, the bus driver and fellow passengers lodged a complaint at Jayankondam All Women’s Police Station.
