The division bench comprising Justice S Manikumar and Justice Subramonium Prasad before whom a plea moved by Sutru Suzhal Makkal Sangam, Coimbatore came up for hearing, observed that there is absolutely no material, even prima facie satisfaction that there is violation by Sri Annapoorna Sri Gowrishankar Hotel (P) Limited at Avarampalayam road.
The petitioner had submitted those visiting the hotel park the two wheelers and four wheelers in the front and back of Ramakrishna hospital, leading to patients and public struggling to cross the road and enter the hospital. Moreover, parking of vehicles in the place earmarked as no parking also leads to severe traffic snarls in the area during peak hours.
Moreover, the hotel is running without proper license and had failed to obtain permission from the local authorities, the petitioner alleged while claiming that several complaints to the authorities in this regard had failed to evoke any action.
