Thambidurai plays down Stalin’s call to unseat EPS government

Addressing the reporters in Karur on Thursday, Thambidurai pointed out the speech of MK Stalin soon after taking charge as the president of the party that DMK was committed to defeat AIADMK and BJP. “AIADMK was built by the sacrifice of visionary leaders. Stalin cannot do anything against the AIADMK.”

Pointing out to DMK general secretary Anbazhagan’s speech, Thambidurai said, “Anbazhagan addressed Stalin as the son of Karunanidhi, this salutation itself clearly indicates the family rule in DMK. While M Karunanidhi has an elder son, the younger one takes up the post of party president. Stalin himself admitted that he is not as good as Karunanidhi, who was good at writing and speaking,” Thambidurai said.

He further said that AIADMK would contest in all 40 constituency and win in all segments. 

Commenting on demonetization, he said, “Demonetization did not bring any change in the country but many small-scale entrepreneurs and micro industries were affected,” he said.
