MK Alagiri to conduct peace rally to Kalaignar memorial on September 5

In an interview to reporters, former Union Minister MK Alagiri said that a peace rally to the late DMK leader M Karunanidhi's memorial will be conducted on September 5, in which about 75,000 people will participate.

He also stated that he was not informed anything about the scheduled DMK party meeting on August 28 and that the loyal supporters of DMK are with him.

He said, "At the memorial of Kalaignar on August 8, I have already made it clear as to how I feel about the ongoing matters in the party. However, I will soon open up on the same".
