SP’s notice to Thimmampet cops over wrong hoisting of Tricolour

Surprisingly, none of the police personnel present during the flag hoisting ceremony at the police station noticed the flag was upside down, with its green colour on the bottom and the saffron on top.

Locals who noticed the lapse clicked pictures of the flag and posted it on social media. Soon after it got viral on WhatsApp, it reached the police personnel, who lowered the flag and raised it again, this time in the proper way. After seeing the picture, SP Pravesh Kumar demanded an explanation from the police personnel, who are citing various excuses to get themselves out of this, according to local sources.
