V Raju is new CGM of BSNL’s Tamil Nadu circle

Raju belonged to the 1983 Indian Telecom Service batch and had previously served as the Principal General Manager at Tiruchy and Guwahati.

He has also served as the Chief General Manager at Andaman and Nicobar Islands, General Manager at Tirunelveli and as Joint Deputy Director General at the BSNL Corporate Office in New Delhi.

Raju holds a MTech degree in digital systems and computer electronics from JNT University, Hyderabad and a post graduate diploma in public policy and management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. He has received professional training from Siemens in Germany and management training from George Mason University at Washington DC. Raju is presently pursuing his PhD in Management.

Raju has also received several Gold Medals for academic performance and several All India awards for Best Customer Service and Best Maintained Telecom Systems.

He has also authored a book on Telecom Services, which carries a foreword by the Union Minister of Communications, who also released it, the statement added.
