Tailor attacked by gang of five dies in hospital

Police said Satish was arrested for the murder of one Muniraj (34) of Paichal village near Tirupattur. He was released on bail seven month ago. On Monday night, while returning to Jolarpet from Tirupattur, Satish was attacked by a gang led Karthi (24), younger brother of Muniraj. 

Satish who suffered grievous injuries was first admitted to the Tirupattur Government Hospital before being shifted to the Dharmapuri Government Headquarters Hospital where he succumbed on Tuesday. 

Police suspect the attack on Satish to have been carried out by Karthi to avenge his brother’s death. Jolarpet police, who have registered a case, arrested Karthi and his accomplice Siva (22). They are on the lookout for the remaining culprits.
