Man who threatened woman with video killed

V Vikram (27) of Koradacherri in Tiruvarur, employed in the cinema field in Chennai, used to visit his sister in Kumbakonam frequently during which he reportedly befriended his sister’s neighbour R Neelavathi (21). 

Later, they developed a relationship. Recently, Vikram had videographed Neelavathi while she was bathing in her house and was forcing her to yield to his sexual desires. 

Afraid over informing her family members, Neelavathi alerted her relative R Rahul (23) of the same neighbourhood. Since the verbal harassment by Vikram continued, Neelavathi and Rahul conspired to teach him a lesson. 

Accordingly, Neelavathi invited Vikram to visit Velankanni. On Monday, all the three went to Velankanni and they decided to take bath in the beach. Subsequently, they went to the beach and took bath. 

Suddenly, Rahul stabbed Vikram and he fell dead in a pool of blood. Soon, Neelavathi and Rahul attempted to escape from the spot.However, the Velankanni police who were on security duty nabbed the duo. Later, the body of Vikram was retrieved and was sent to the Nagapattinam Government Hospital. 

On Tuesday, both Rahul and Neelavathi were produced before a court and were lodged in prison under judicial custody.
