The training institutes, expected to be launched before the year-end, will also help Class 12 students to appear for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and Chartered Accountancy (CA).

School Education Department sources here told DT NEXT that the government had tied up with several private coaching institutes including Chaitanya Academy, Speed and ALLEN Career Institute to train the students for NEET.

“Likewise, the government will enter into agreement with renowned institutions to train government students for JEE, IIT, CA and CLAT,” a senior official from the department said.

According to the official, the government is also planning to identify its land in various places for setting up permanent centre, which would train the students for all the competitive exams. “The centres will come up in many districts so that students from far flung areas could participate in the training”, he said.
