GH, PHCs felicitated for family planning programmes
Collector SA Raman on Monday felicitated government hospitals and primary health centres (PHC) in Vellore district which received awards from the State goverment for their good work in family planning programmes.

The Joint Director (Health) in Vellore and Government Medical College Hospital at Adukamparai on the outskirts of Vellore received awards for their work in 2015-16 and 2016-17.
The Christian Medical College Hospital was awarded for its work between 2014 and 2017.
The primary health centres in Banavaram (2014-15), Natrampalli (2014-15), Pudupet (2015-16) and Pacchur (2016-17) were also awarded.
Lauding the initiative undertaken by the health centres, Raman urged them to continue their good work. Several health department officials, including Joint Director Yasmin and Deputy Directors M Suresh, D Parthasarathy and S Shanthi, were present at the felicitation function.
