TN class ten students secure overall of 94.5 per cent
Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations on Wednesday announced that the overall pass percentage of class 10 board exam is 94.5%, compared to last year performance of 94.4%.

As the results were announced by the directorate, the overall percentage of girls was 96.4% while boys secured 92.5%.
A total of 5,584 private schools in Tamil Nadu secured pass percentage of 100%. Similarly, as many as 5,456 government schools secured pass percentage of 100%.
Sivaganga district secured highest pass percentage of 98.50 followed by Erode district, which registered 98.38%.
More than 10 lakh students including private candidates faced the class ten board exam, which started on March 16 and ended on April 20.
A total 9,402 candidates scored above 480 marks out of 500.
