TANUVAS opens online admissions
The Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) on Monday announced online admissions to its various undergraduate programmes, including 360 seats for Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH). The online enrolment for students will be open till June 6.

Vice Chancellor C Balachandran said 460 seats, including B Tech, were available in seven colleges affiliated to TANUVAS.
He added that 120 BVSc & AH seats were available at TANUVAS and 80 each at Veterinary College and Research Institute in Namakkal, Tirunelveli and Orathanadu.
Similarly, 40 B Tech (Food Technology) seats and 20 seats for B Tech (Dairy Technology) were available at the College of Food and Dairy Technology in Chennai. There are 40 B Tech (Poultry Technology) seats available at College of Poultry Production Management, Hosur. Candidates who intended to apply for B Tech courses should submit the online application and they can choose the course during the counselling based on their rank.
For NRI students, nine BVSc & AH seats and two B Tech (Food Technology) seats were available. For foreign nationals, five BVSc & AH seats and two B Tech (Food Technology) seats were available. For Jammu and Kashmir students, including Kashmir migrants, only two BVSc & AH seats were available.
NRIs and foreign nationals can fill in the application on the university website till June 30, 2018. After the payment, NRI candidates should send the application to TANUVAS.
Application of Kashmir migrants should be endorsed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development along with photocopies of mark sheets and age proof.
