Three killed in road accident at Vadamangalam
After being informed, Villianur traffic police rushed to the spot and shifted Azarudin and Manikandan to Jipmer hospital. However, Azarudin died on way to hospital, while Manikandan died after admission to Jipmer.

Three persons were killed in a road accident at Vadamangalam near here in the early hours of Sunday.
According to police, Manikandan (25) of Tendral village was running a hotel near Villianur, while Ramzan Ali (24) and Azarudin Khan (24), both hailing from Kolkata, used to work in his hotel.
The trio were travelling on a bike at around 3am on Sunday, when a lorry coming from opposite side hit their vehicle. In the impact, Ramzan was killed on the spot, while the other two sustained grievous injuries.
After being informed, Villianur traffic police rushed to the spot and shifted Azarudin and Manikandan to Jipmer hospital. However, Azarudin died on way to hospital, while Manikandan died after admission to Jipmer.
Villianur traffic police are investigating the case.
