Over 45,000 register online for TNEA
The online registration for admission to engineering courses in Tamil Nadu has touched the 45,000 mark. With just a couple of weeks left for the last date for registering applications, about 1.5 lakh students are expected to get themselves enrolled into engineering colleges in the state through online counselling.

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) sources told DTNext that as on Friday, a total of 45,608 students have registered to seek admission in engineering colleges. Of the total, 39,692 have enrolled themselves online and the rest used facilitation centres, which was set up in all the districts.
“On Friday alone 4,426 students registered,” sources said.
