Speaking to reporters in Karur, Thambidurai said, the Centre asking for two more weeks for establishing the CMB is not a setback to Tamil Nadu and the ‘Amma’ government will always show its red face to the Centre whenever it acts against the interest of the state.
“We are confident of winning in the Cauvery issue in the Supreme Court,” he noted. On gutkha scam, he said that Health Minister C Vijaya Baskar will face the case legally as he always referred himself clean in this connection.
He also claimed that he had appealed to the Speaker not to disqualify the 11 MLAs, including O Panneerselvam, as they have contested and won in the ‘Two Leaves’ symbol.
