In Karnataka, TTV men to contest in AIADMK symbol
Asserting that the Election Commission order on ‘Two Leaves’ symbol would not bind those outside Tamil Nadu, the supporters of Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam deputy general secretary TTV Dhinakaran said they would contest in it in 20 constituencies in Karnataka Assembly elections.

AMMK spokesperson and former state secretary of AIADMK’s Karnataka unit V Pugazhendhi, speaking to reporters at Bengaluru said there is no bar for Dhinakaran against using ‘Two Leaves’ outside Tamil Nadu. He said Dhinakaran’s supporters would contest elections in 20 seats including Gandhinagar, Pulikesi Nagar, Shivaji Nagar, Sir CV Raman Nagar, Gold Field and Bangarpet.
Though, a case against Dhinakaran using the AIADMK flag and name is pending in the MHC, it is applicable only to Tamil Nadu according to the Election Commission’s direction, he asserted.
