NHAI threatened with legal action over poor road works
Consumer organisations from Tiruchy on Wednesday sent a representation to NHAI, insisting on the completion of a project without error as promised to the court within 30 days or else face legal action.

According to the Federation of Consumer and Service Organisation (FCSO), the Project Director of NHAI, Tiruchy had admitted to a series of errors in road engineering works, including the construction of the six minor bridges in the city stretch.Â
The FCSO has asked the NHAI to undertake the correction work within a month or else, the organisation would approach the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court for legal action against the NHAI over their failure to keep its assurance.
