Diffabled, pensioners join protests
After people from various walks of life volunteered to protest for the Cauvery issue, the retired government employees and differently abled persons have jumped into the ongoing protests in Thanjavur on Saturday.

The members of General Association of the Differently Abled staged a protest demonstration in front of the Thanjavur Head Post Office demanding the constitution of the Cauvery Management Board (CMB).Â
M Kajamohideen, the president of the association, said that the Cauvery is the life line of the people of Tamil Nadu and urged the state to insist upon the Centre to form the CMB. Meanwhile in Mayiladuthurai, a section retired Central government employees too staged a protest.
