Actors’ support an illusion, says Minister

Participating in a temple festival in Kovilpatti on Sunday, the Minister said that the pollution control board had recently carried out an inspection of the plant and had submitted a report to the Environment and Forest Ministry. The Ministry too had submitted a report to Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and he in turn has sought a report from all the associated departments.  With the help of the report, the CM will take a good decision, said the Minister. 

He also blamed the DMK for allotting 25 more acres to Sterlite. On Kamal and Rajini extending their support to the protests, the Minister said, “They are trying to do politics in Sterlite issue. Their support is an illusion and only the government can take legal action in the case.”
