Regarding the central government’s proposed clarification petition on the ‘scheme’, the sources said the state government’s contention would be the Centre failing to implement the final verdict in its entirety.Â
Until the time of going to the press, the state government, except for a photograph of the meeting, did not make its decision public through any official means.Â
In a separate development, the Chief Minister also met AIADMK Lok Sabha MPs who expressed their intention to tender resignations as a face saver to the public pressure.
