Vishnu Bhat acting chief of JIPMER
Senior Professor of Neonatology & Dean (Research) B Vishnu Bhat has been appointed as Acting Director of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, following an order from JIPMER president.

Dr Bhat has taken over charge on March 24, according to a JIPMER release on Tuesday.Â
Graduated from JIPMER, Dr Bhat has been in the field of Medical Education & Research for more than three decades.Â
He is a pioneer in the field of Neonatology and has published 367 scientific papers, 52 chapters in books and edited a book on Protein Energy Malnutrition.
