Aim must be to form govt, Kamal to cadre
Kamal Hassan has said that his party Makkal Needhi Maiam brings people together not just to form a crowd as a show of strength but to potentially form the government in the state. The MNM president recently announced his third public meeting in Tiruchy on April 4.

Speaking to a group of 200 people, who arrived at his office to join the party, he said, “We have gathered here as all of us are united by our search for integrity and love. You have shown me the path I should take. I am a manifestation of you.”
Terming the gathering a celebration, Kamal added that what lies ahead should be action. He said that the aim is not to gather a crowd. “We must undertake development activities ourselves and pressurise the state to act on behalf of the public. We must also aim to form government.”
