Woman’s paramour killed, husband and four others held

Police said Chinnasamy, son of Vellaiyan of ChinnaEttipatti near Odugathur, had an extra marital affair with Kanchana (30), wife of Natarajan of Muthanur village. Chinnasamy, who went to Anaicut on March 16, didn’t return home and his wife lodged a complaint with the police. 

Meanwhile, locals found a body from Muthanur and police identified it as Chinnasamy. During investigation, police found that Chinnasamy had a relationship with Kanchana. When questioned, Kanchana told the police that her husband asked her to call Chinnasamy to their house. Police said Natarajan and his friends attacked and killed Chinnasamy when he came to Muthanur. They later dumped the body in a sack and disposed it a bush near the village.

Police arrested Natarajan, Kanchana, Saminathan and Kamalanathan and have launched a hunt for four others who assisted them.
