Edappadi K Palaniswami calls for MLAs’ meet on TTV Dinakaran party launch day
Amid rumours that several AIADMK MLAs were gearing up to take part in the party launch of RK Nagar legislator TTV Dinakaran on March 15, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami called for a meeting of party MLAs on the same day.

Ruling party legislators will have a tight schedule on Thursday with their government’s budget presentation in the morning, followed by the party legislators’ meeting in the evening.
“The only way they could attend Dinakaran’s party launch would be by skipping the evening meeting where the headcount is certain to be taken,” an AIADMK leader said.
The ruling party approached the Supreme Court by filing an appeal at the Delhi High Court against the allotment of the Cooker symbol on Wednesday.
Since, the function will get over before the Supreme court starts functioning, a stay for Dinakaran’s party launch is out of the question now.
