Stop indecent politics, Tamilisai raps Kamal over party membership row
Tamil Nadu BJP chief Tamilisai Soundarajan on Wednesday asked Kamal Haasan to stop indulging in ‘indecent politics’.

Tamilisai’s sharp attack on the actor-turned-politician came after Kamal’s Makkal Neethi Maiam (MNM) claimed to have proof of her membership request from her website.
On Tuesday, Tamilisai ridiculed Kamal for the fake membership drive undertaken by his party. “Even a child would know that anything mischievous can be done with advanced technology. Instead of giving an explanation on how the mistake happened, Kamal is involved in indecent politics by justifying the fault,” she said, adding, “First agree to your mistake and rectify it.”
The BJP leader also took exception for MNM’s sarcastic reply stating that her phone number has been blacked out to avoid anyone calling her to apparently check to ascertain which party she belongs to.
“I am using the same phone number for about 25 years. My email ID is also known to all. I am a doctor too and doctors from various countries contact me,” she said.
Stating that she wants to put a full stop to the membership row, Tamilisai asked Kamal to remove derogatory comments against her on the website and initiate action against his members.
Further, Tamilisai said only the BJP can bring about a change in Tamil Nadu. “In the next Assembly polls, no one can form government without the support of the BJP,” she said.
