    Hailing the efforts of municipal administration officials of Tiruchy, Coimbatore and Erode for securing ranks amongst the top 50 towns in the country, the Governor said by vigorously propagating the message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan it will be possible to make the state the leader in the campaign for cleanliness. 

    He said after the launch of SSA, as many as 44,56,032 individual toilets have been constructed in the last three and half years. 

    “Likewise, 2,92,030 community and public toilets were constructed and 100% door to door waste collection was achieved in 51,734 wards,” he said.
