Many party leaders lost sleep over Monday speech of Superstar, says Thanjai fans
Rajinikanth’s political speech on Monday has rattled a few politicians and they have lost their sleep, claimed Thanjavur Rajini Makkal Mandram administrator VM Sudhakar on Tuesday.

A meeting of Rajini Makkal Mandram office-bearers’ was organised in Thanjavur on Tuesday in which the administrator urged the fans to work extensively to make ‘Thalaivar’ the chief minister.
The meeting was chaired by Thanjavur district Rajinikanth fans club president Rajini Ganesan in which 10 fans each from 14 panchayat unions, 22 town panchayats, two municipalities and one city corporation, took part.
The members were allowed based on call letters and were asked to give their personal details as well as their contributions to the fan club. They were also asked to write about their willingness to contest in election and the post for which they plan to stand for.
Subsequently, the administrator of the Makkal Mandram Sudhakar spoke about the primary aim of the meeting and said it was to nominate office-bearers of the Mandram at all levels. Later, a video recording of Rajini was screened among the fans in which the actor told them that despite being an uphill task to achieve in politics, with the united and disciplined work by the cadre anything would be possible. He said the need of the hour was complete political change in the state and the people of the other states should be in awe about the change happening here, he added. Rajinikanth cautioned that all the eyes are on the organisation and many were expecting infighting and the cadre should not give them a chance. General secretary of the Mandram Raju Mahalingam and others were present.
