Body of Rameswaram medico cremated
The mortal remains of Krishna Prasad, the PG medical student who committed suicide in PGIMER, Chandigarh, reached his hometown Rameswaram and was cremated on Wednesday.

After the completion of the autopsy, the body of Krishna Prasad was handed over to his family. It was then taken to Madurai in the afternoon and later to Rameswaram.Â
On seeing the body, his family and friends, who studied MBBS with him, broke down. Subsequently, final rites were performed and the cremation was held late in the evening. A large number of people gathered outside the house of Krishna Prasad and consoled his parents.
