According to an official release, the campus saw the return of regular recruiters such as Dabur, L&T, Mahindra & Mahindra, Microsoft, Saint Gobain, Yes Bank and attracted new companies like Avalon Consulting, Avendus, DHL, Godrej, RBL Bank and Shopclues.

The release added that 95 companies participated in the placement process and offered 157 roles to students across various domains of sales and marketing, finance, general management, strategy, consulting, operations, and human resources.

While the average salary presented stood at Rs 62,000 per month, an offer of Rs 2,50,000 per month is the highest a student has received this year. Also, this year saw the average salary of female candidates rise 28 per cent higher than their male counterparts.

Commenting on this, director Dr Bhimaraya Metri, said, “Completion of summer placement for the class of 2019 with such impressive figures is a testimony of academic rigour  at IIM Tiruchy.”
