Chief Ministers from other states are preaching self-respect to Tamil Nadu, he said and asked, “What is the connection between Kejriwal and Tamil Nadu. It is a shame that Kamal had launched his party in the presence of Kejriwal, who does not know anything about Tamil language and region.” Citing the greetings sent by Left leaders like Pinarayi Vijayan to the actor’s party, Radhakrishnan, speaking at Villupuram, asked if the Left parties had accepted Dravidian ideology. Referring to DMK working president MK Stalin’s comments that the actors are paper flowers, the Union Minister said, “Kamal is a paper seed, since the actor claims to be a seed.”

    Raja calls Kamal anti-Hindu

Meanwhile, in Thanjavur, BJP national secretary H Raja said that Kamal is always anti-Hindu and he was in the habit of ridiculing the Hindus and their sentiments in all his movies. “The actor will split the people with his corrupt thinking,” he said.

Speaking to reporters, Raja said, when anyone reaches Rameswaram, the first thought would be of Ramanathaswamy temple. “But Kamal, who launched his party after visiting Rameswaran, had not paid a visit to the temple. He is anti-Hindu, we cannot expect anything better from him even in his political career,” Raja added. The national party leader also condemned Dravidar Kazhagam president K Veeramani’s statement on Raja Raja Cholan as a ‘foolish king’ and charged that Veeramani has ridiculed the entire Tamil society by saying so. “Veeramani is an evil spirit,” he added. He also charged that Veeramani had encroached upon the land belonging to Lakshmi Narasimha temple in Vallam and established Periyar Maniammai University. He also alleged that Veeramani had collected Rs 1 lakh each from the students for campus interview but he had not arranged any job to them. He also demanded to protect the properties of 38,635 temples across the state and the retrieval of encroached temple lands.
