Jawadhu hills Co-op Society makes profit of Rs 20.25 lakh
The Jawadhu hills Co-operative Society earned a profit of Rs 20.25 lakh by selling locally available products worth Rs 1.30 crore, state Cooperatives Minister Sellur Raju said, while inaugurating the 30th branch of the Tiruvannamalai district central cooperative bank at Jamaunamarudur on Monday.

Referring to the efforts undertaken for farmers by the state government, he said TN was the only state to get multiple drought relief loans from the central government.Â
Tamil Nadu was allotted Rs 3042.47 crore in 2016-17 of which Rs 2654.17 crore had been directly paid into the bank accounts of farmers till February 16, the minister said. He distributed various loans worth Rs 1.29 crore to 480 beneficiaries.Â
