Kovai student killed in brawl

V Parthiban, 25, of Appanaickenpalayam, was studying in an engineering college. His friend P Ajith Kumar had sought money from him to pay dues for his two-wheeler. When Parthiban, Ajith Kumar and another friend, S Praveen Kumar, were consuming liquor, they got into a heated debate over Parthiban’s refusal to give money to Ajith. Suddenly, Ajith stabbed Parthiban who died.
