InvoVIT-2018 commences at VIT
Teachers should focus on imbibing creativity in the minds of students and enable them to think out of the box, said BHEL Ranipet executive director K Kalaiselvan, while inaugurating ‘InvoVIT-2018’, a two-day science festival that commenced on Saturday at the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University here.

In his address, Kalaiselvan said that students should develop an interest in science at a very young age.
They should dedicate themselves for the economic growth of the country and also to invent new gadgets that would benefit people.
Students between Class 9 and 12 from over 75 schools in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Puducherry and Tamil Nadu took part in InvoVIT-2018.
Prizes to the tune of Rs 3 lakh would be distributed to the students, who win in events such as working model, idea presentation, poster presentation and quiz, a VIT release here said.
