Thoothukudi bizman found dead in car with injuries

The deceased identified as Ponraj was running a water purifier service centre in Thoothukudi and Tirunelveli. On January 6, he went to Tirunelveli and did not return. His mother Sakthikani filed a complaint at Thoothukudi south police station and based on the complaint, police carried out a search operation. 

In the investigation, Ponraj was found in his car near a marriage hall in Thoothukudi with injuries. When he was rushed to the hospital, doctors found out that he was  already dead. A murder case was registered and police began investigations. 

When they checked the CCTV footage from a building near the marriage hall, they found that the car was parked at the spot on January 7. Two persons were found walking out of the car with Ponraj in an unconscious state inside the car. Police suspect that Ponraj might have been poisoned by the two. They are of the view that a clear picture would emerge only after the post-mortem.
